A Pathfinder HealthWatch

We all have experiences of local health and social care services.

Our independent network of individuals and organisations is keen to improve services and wants to hear about your experiences.

There is a Local Involvement Network in every borough in England, each with statutory powers to enter and view services, recommend improvements and be represented.

As a local resident, you can be a part of it.

Why get involved?

As a member of the public, you have a right to be
involved in discussions and decisions about your
health and social care services.

By sharing your experiences and ideas with your Local Involvement Network, you can influence the way local services are run...

Proposed closure of vital services

Lewisham Local Involvement Network (LINk) has written to Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health about the proposed closure of vital services at University Hospital Lewisham. The LINk spoke to over 300 local people who gave their views on the Trust Special Administrator (TSA)'s recommendations. The closure is threatened following the 'one-sided, one-dimensional' report of the TSA, the LINk hopes this may go some way to persuading Jeremy Hunt to reject the TSA's recommendations.
